Pretty cloudy dark amber to reddish brown beer, big creamy yellowish head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, some caramel malts, biscuits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty start, some citrus, caramel, soft bitterness, bit of milk chocolate, bit sweet. Aftertaste: citrus, bit of tropical fruits, grains, malty, nice hoppy bitterness. One of the best BS's so far, even if they didn't brew it themselves? :p

Thnx to Eugene. pours rather unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is mildly spiced. Taste is bit bitter, high carbo, bit spiced. Mild pale malts. OK

Small off-white rim; copper-orangeish beer. Bit salty, mineral, silty, but also cornflakes and some anonymous spice. Chili in the flavour, old grains/malts (again some oxydation!), bit toasted. Medium bodied, rather slick. Chili comes out much more in force in the finish. OK. But that is about the best I can say. Thanks, M & L V.! 6/4/5/3/11

Small but stable off-white head, fed by well-carbonated, cloudy darker ochre beer. Oxydized, diacetyl laden, stale cornflakes... oh dear. Oxydized, stale cookies, oxydized honey. Finish shows again diacetyl. Medium bodied, slick, aftertaste again oxydation. This is a disaster... Sorry, M & L V.! 3/4/5/3/5

Citruspeel all but gone in the mouth, but a slightly sourish hint remains. Light tot medium bodied, bit slick, good carbonation. Uncomparably better than the former version. Thanks to Stef. Yet another of these countless BS beers with exotic spicing, shared by 77ships, thanks. Moussy, lightly lacing, pale beige-hued head, hazy dark burgundy brownish robe. Aroma of gravy, soaked peppercorns, treacle, toasted bread, bitter cinnamon, hazelnuts, dried porcini. Sweetish onset, fig, gravy- and beef stock-like umami presence, caramelly malt body, nutty edges with that gravy-like flavour running through the whole - probably linked to soaked peppercorns of some or other kind, as in some other of BS’s beers; herbal bitterishness in the end, spicy accent but low in the promised red wine and / or oak cask character. Weird concoction, a bit bizarre and unbalanced like many of these Beerstormings, could do with less of that beefy umami and more wine cask tartness, I think, but drinkable alright. The announced ’speculoos’ effect, however, is not really there.

500 ml. bottle shared - “Late night” tasting @ home. Sampled. Purchased at brewery. Dark amber brown, big mocha head. Nose is rubbish overly sweet malt, soap, chemical, spoiled dark fruits,… Taste is rotting fruit, chemical, unpleasant malt & soap mess, little carbonation,… Glue, thick spoiled fruit & plastic body. Quite a mess, I really need to stop with these.

Bottle. Pours dark blonde to amber, very clear. Rather small sized head, but with a decent stability. Smell is yeasty, bit of a fruity/spice note which I guess is the Goji berry and coriander. Taste is bit bitter, again some coriander bit dryness from the Sugar ( I assume ) very yeasty, sugary ( yet not sweet) aftertaste, making it a bit sticky, not so refreshing. The body and carbo are OK

Pours Nearly black, bit darker , rather big but very unstable white head. Smell is straight off. Very plasticy, bad yeastyness, very very off. mild pepper notes in the back. Taste is bit bitter, less plastic, but still quite a bit. Spices are not belnded in at all, giving a powdery feel to the wholeness of the beer. pepper is in the back, doesn’t fit the other tastes. Not very good.

Pours very dark brown, small, rather light head without much stability. Smell is roasty, bit of the chillie’s spice. has a mild undertone of spice (probably the cardamon, but it’s not 100 % recognizable... almost like coriander as well ? ) Taste is sharp, roasty, bit thin, chilly heat is there, in a mellow way. Cardamon is more to the background. overall, I have some serious issues with the body in this . The taste is OK, nothing acceptionnaly great, but not bad at all, but this lacks in body by crazy amounds, and it’s not the first beerstorming beer that has it. not sure why, I supposed they brew all-grain, but the latest offerings seem to tell me differently...
