500 ml. bottle sampled @ Beerstorming. Shared cost. BBF 16.07.16. Surprisingly decent beer / stout considering the beer & ABV even despite the artificial chocolate etc. notes. Black, creamy mocha tanned head. Nose is creamy plastic mocha, sugar, artificial chocolate spread. Taste is artificial mocha spread, sugar, candy, plastic, artificial mocha, sugar, artificial chocolate. Surprisingly solid artificial mocha body for this ABV. Artificial-like but very solid given the ABV & presumable age (2 – 3 months).

Sampled draft @ Beerstorming. Shared cost. Hazy orange, creamy darker white. Nose is something spoiled, milky yeast, moldy rug,… Seems like this one has started turning. Taste is weird milky moldy rug, mineral, cornflakes, milky yeast, sugar, spoiled,… Milky yeast & spoiled rug body. Feels like this one has started turning since smoked tea is really my thing.

Sampled draft @ Beerstorming. Shared cost. Strange milky & sweet white sugar beer but I am not also a fan of white tea. Everything considering this one could have been less favorable for me. Light hazy golden, white head only on the sides. Nose is weird herbal milky sweetness, faintly mineral, white sugar. Taste is weird milky sugar ,white tea, sweetness, sugar,… Milky & white sugar body.

Sampled draft @ Beerstorming. Shared cost. Batch 2 was pretty decent but this one is too milky for me. Hazy golden with a creamy solid white head. Nose is sweet floral banana, sugar, candy, milky. Taste is milky lemon, far too milky, white sugar, candy, overly milky, lightly floral. Milky body. Step down for me, too bad.

Sampled draft @ Beerstorming. Shared cost. I am not a fan of white tea but this one is lovely to my surprise. Hazy golden with a creamy white head consisting of big bubbles. Nose is sweet milky lime with sweet tea, lime & ice tea. Taste is sweet milky sugary ice tea, white tea with lime, candy sweet dough & lots of lemonade. Sweet lemonade stuff, lovely. Faintly milky & sugary body. Surprisingly successful.

Sampled draft @ Beerstorming. Shared cost. Apparently same base recipe as Imperial Black Saaz only with East Kent Golding instead of Saaz obv. Whilst I loved their Imperial Black Saaz, this one is less exciting for me, I feel like even the base worked out less favorably here. Black with a creamy mocha head. Nose is vegetable hops, cheese, green hops, umami, syrupy base,… Syrupy base seems to be same here but the hops are way too vegetable, the whole is too umami-like. It does improve as it warms up. Taste is strongly vegetable, herbal, soy sauce, red grape, herbal, chocolate syrup. Chocolate syrup & soy sauce body. A far less successful iteration.
