Draft @ Beerstorming. Couleur orangée présentant un léger voile, le col est épais crémeux retombant lentement. Arôme met de suite en avant les qualités ester de la levure, je retrouve un fruité de banane. Il aura fallu qcq minutes pour que se dégagent des fines effluves de thé fumé. A ce sujet, je me demande d’ailleurs si l’ajout de genévrier ne met pas un peu le bouquet raffiné du thé en porte-à -faux? Une touche houblonnée noble arrive également en rétro-nasal. Palais est onctueux annonçant une légère épaisseur de bouche, levure - ester banane et côté malt froment? Pils est bien présent, le profil fumé du thé est modéré et arrive plus en second plan. L’amertume est moyenne et s’axe autour d’une base noble; confirmée en Hallertauer. Malgré son taux % moyen je note une certaine vague de chaleur qui est plaisante et qui tranche bien avec le profil de la levure. Le côté genévrier ajoute, quant à lui, ce profil caractéristique de baies. Bel effort.

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Clear, golden amber, tan to white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly herbal aroma of caramel, honey and juniper. Sweetish-malty, herbal taste of caramel, honey, nuts, licorice and juniper, followed by a short, slightly bitter, herbal finish. Medium body, creamy to oily mouthfeel. Nice!

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Slightly hazy, straw yellow, white head. Sweetish, fruity, musty aroma of passion fruit, rhubarb and straw. Sweetish, fruity, slightly musty taste of passion fruit, rhubarb and straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Didn’t like it.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! 500 (?) ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. BBF 13.08.2016. Hazy amber golden with small white head. Nose is big aromatic peach, citrus, light perfume & big juniper berry. Taste is bitter strong odd juniper berry, big floral profile, grass, low sweetness in the back, almost jenever feel to it, touch seemingly boozy. Body is bitter, touch fizzy, lightly boozy. Interesting, not the biggest fan of juniper berries but this is an interesting & well-done beer.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! 500 (?) ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. BBF 13.08.2016. Hazy lemon citrus, little white bubbles. Nose is milky passionfruit, citrus, almost a touch more citrus than passionfruit, lots of white bread. Taste is milky mineral passionfruit juice & citrus, bit fizzy, touch watery, gets a bit empty & mineral towards the middle. Watery, touch fizzy lemon body. Simple white bread base, enough passion fruit juice & some citrus, lemon, body falters a bit & it has started turning a bit.
