Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2025. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, stewed fruit, nut, apple, bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty twiggy makts, died fruit, trail mix grassy hop. Palate is semi sweet, drying finish, moderate cask condition.. Not bad. Old school.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2025. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a a lasti g loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty malts, amber makt, cut grass, brown sugars gooseberry, hedgerow hop. Palate is semi sweet rounded, good cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty earthy malts, light mineral, brandy snap, burnt grass, harsh bitterness. Not bad.

Cask at the White Horse, Hertford on 21st August 2025. Clear copper with shallow, yellowy white foam and full lacing. Hazelnut malt aroma. Rewardingly hoppy in-mouth with a lengthy, satisfyingly bitter, grassy finish. Smooth yet engaging mouthfeel, and a light to medium body. Superb.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a thin white head; orchard fruit aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a taste of pear; then an autumnal fruity finish. Very drinkable.
