Bottle at Tower Bridge Draft House. It pours very dark brown, with a thin tan head. The nose is roasted malt, caramel, charcoal and coffee. The taste is caramel, roasted malt, charcoal, filter coffee, meat, metal and alcohol warmth, with a dry-roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Ok, but nothing special.

Bottled (Thanks to The Cad). Drunk on the way from Craft Beer Co to the tube station. Amber colour, gave good foam when hitting the street (poured some on the street to check what the colour was). Aroma is caramel malts, some slight herbal and fruity notes with also quite much dough. Flavour is crisp maltyness along with some dough, fruity and floral hops. Not that exciting.

330 ml bottle at a restaurant in the Brick Lane area. Golden? Closer to murky brown body with a dense tan head. Mild aroma of fruity yeast, hint of caramel and light citric. Flavor is fruity, light caramel, a bit spicy and some bitterness. Medium body. Surprisingly tasty to be a golden ale.
