nice chestnut pour, good sized head. Nutty, caramel, with a touch of fruit in the aroma. GOod caramel malt in the flavour with some more nuttiness, and some nice english hops. Excellent for the style.

Poured from 750mL bottle (thanks Taylor). Lightly hazed gold with quickly dissipating white head. Has a decent funk nose, lightly tart, with some oak backing. Surprisingly decent.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma has a nice leathery character, with gentle funk, and a touch of citrus. Flavour has plenty of tart citrus, a little funk, some acetic notes, and light leather. Not really convincing as a lambic, but it's a pretty solid tart ale of some sort. Pleasant.

750mL bottle. Pours cloudy pale gold with small white head. Funky wild yeast and gentle citric acid on the nose. Flavour has a decently complex sour profile, earthy wild yeast, gentle acidity, a touch citric. Well-done and very enjoyable sour ale.

L'arrière-goût est merveilleux! Cette bière est juste bien mordante en bouche. Reçue en cadeau...

Pint at the Quinpool taproom. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Lots of dank resins and pine on the nose. Flavour has pine, resin, and dank oils; decent malt base. Very solid WC IPA.

473mL can. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Aroma has gentle sweet malts and cinnamon. Flavour has a churro-esque profile: sweet chewy malts, cinnamon, brown sugar. Pleasant enough, but it's profile is shallow and overall is uninteresting.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready wheat malt, yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, honey, lemon, grass and spicy hops in a dry, crisp, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily to watery texture and average carbonation. Clean, flavourful and easy to put back.

473mL can. Pours brown with white head. Aroma has vague roasted malts. Flavour has some chocolate and roasted malts. I remember this being much better, tastes like a pastry brown ale.

Medium brown colour...not really the right colour for an imperial stout. No head. Aroma is thin, gutted, lifeless. Like there's nothing in here but maybe a bit of vanilla. On the palate, a bit more body, some residual sugar. No evidence of stout base. A bit of vanilla. I mean if it's a Nanaimo bar stout, it's like the 7-Eleven palm oil Nanaimo bar. Propeller owes the city of Nanaimo an apology.
