Large foamy white head left a froth on an unclear pale gold body. Bitter hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated & clean on the back. Peach, melon, hoppy & citrus tastes. Easy going.

[375ml can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a loose coffee coloured head; aroma of oats and bitter, well-roasted grains; thick and oily in the mouth with an overwhelming bitterness from the roast, then a touch of sweeter chocolate; before a finish that is both creamy and oaty, and dry and earthy. Really enjoyable.

375ml can from Monster and Beer, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is light toffee, yeasty, apples and light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light crisp, yeasty, gluey, toffee, apple banana, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sessionable and drinkable. I’d order another.

375ml can from Monster and Beer, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is funky yeast, tropical citrus fruits, mango, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a rich, warm boozy, juicy citrus, floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Plenty of fruit and well hidden alcohol, but somewhat light for a DIPA.

26/1/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, citrus, flowers, grass. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Too sweet for my liking.

Hop Nation The Punch Mango Gose 4% The sunny weather had me wanting a Gose. The aroma on this orange colored brew that looks like OJ in certain light was tart in ripe mango rind. Medium bodied, tart and acidic up front but there is a rich mango to it as well. Nice stuff.

375ml can [2020 vintage, 10.7% abv]. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and minimally vinous, oaky aroma, notes of dark chocolate, a touch of blue grapes, oak, whiffs of tar and ashes. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty, minimally vinous and oaky, slightly alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, hints of blue grapes, a touch of cherry, whiffs of tart and ashes; bitter, minimally warming, alcoholic finish with a touch of cherry wood. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium, soft carbonation. Subtle BA notes, not overly complex overall - OK.
