Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - cloudy yellow with white suds. Nose - geranium, some banana. Taste - completely different and can see why it is loaded as a barley wine. Toffee and banana. Palate - medium to full bodied, chewy texture. Some dryness on the finish. Overall - good.

Bottle shared by Wendigo at BBT 9/2024. Barely medium body, could use more robustness. Light carbonation. Aromatics are intense, lots of coffee, cocoa, also med-high woodiness and medium dark berries and dried fruits. Tasty, clean, just could use more residual sugars. Very nice nevertheless.

BBBT 09/2024. Dark brown color with white head. Aroma of coffee, coffee beans, dark malt, caramel, toffee, wood, madeira. Taste is chocolate, caramel, dark malt, fruity notes, raisins, wood, coconut from barrel. Could be more intense, otherwise this is tasty beer.

Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Bet is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van graan, citrus en hop. Het mondgevoel is droog. De smaak is fruitig, grapefruit, sinaasappel en citrus met een hop bittere afdronk.
