Bottle at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, 19th October 24. Been after this one for agers. Pours black as night aroma is liquor, cocoa, vanilla, barrel and wood. Taste is smooth, chocolate, liquor, wet wood and barrel, vanilla and bourbon. Lovely

Blik via de brouwerij, thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van tropische vruchten en hop. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, tropische vruchten en hop.

Can, 7.5%. Brown sugar aroma, hint of acid. Dark brown colour, perhaps hazy or perhaps clear. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is nicely sweet, with dark, spicy sugar notes. Caramellized malts and sugars. Once in a while, I get a small chocolate note, but nothing very powerful. Reminds me of Andechser Doppelbock, which is great, and this one is also excellent.
