Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is ripe banana with yeast, wheat, sugary fruits, some bubble gum, alcohol, fruit liqueur. Sweet flavour with a slightly boozy finish. Above medium body. Sweet, smooth and candied. Nice.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt, spicy yeast, touch of chocolate, some candy sugar and dried fruits. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bitterness. Above medium body. Good Quad, the malts are dark rather than caramel-y, with even some notes of chocolate.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before October 2026. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty, fairly herbal-spicy aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. Quite sweet, malty, quite roasty-bitter, fairly herbal-spicy taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cardamom, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, fairly herbal-spicy, peppery finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really tasty beer with loads of spices, great for colder days.

Bottle from Beer in a Box. Whiskey and peat with notes of oak and roasted malt. A bit thin, bitter in the finish with light booze. Nice whiskey touch, but body leaves something to be desired.

From tap at Dopey's Elixer, Amsterdam. Aroma is chewy malt with notes of caramel, touch of nuts, touch of hops and some fruit in the finish. Mild sweetish and about medium bitter. Lively carbonation, medium body. Nicely bitter, malty, good Red Ale.
