Very dark brown with thin lacy head. Aroma has sweet malt, caramel and dried fruits. Flavour too. Alcohol well masked by the sweetness but is still there. Really smooth and oily.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Hazy medium golden colour, good frothy white to off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma wheat, orange, mango. Yeast, alcohol. Juicy taste, light light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, yeast, orange, mango, alcohol notes, grainy undertone, spicy notes. Above medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, short fruity and grainy sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering light alcoholic afterburn, tasty and easy to drink, very nice.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige en bloemige geur. De smaak is moutig, hoppig en kruidig.

Tap at Van Moll. Yellow color, decent to medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, weird hoppiness, sort of a mix between green hops and over the top piney hops, unfortunately mixing in a not so good way imo. Nicely bitter though, that I like. Okay.

33cl Fles van De Laat. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Volle bak vingerverf en turf, hint van jodium, pure chocolade, gebrande mout, koffie, caramel, licht boozy, bitterzoet, volle body. Eén grote viering van Laphroaig-turf zonder nare bijsmaakjes. Heerlijk.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Aroma of treacle, vodka and coffee. Sweet with massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle, pine, caramel and intense coffee liqueur. Malt syrup and resin before a boozy finish. Seriously intense and concentrated.
