Tap at Bungalow. Grassy, toasty nose, citrus and herbs. Deep amber orange color, lightly hazy, with a thick, low head. Very hoppy, toasty, lots of crackers, light caramel. Huge toast and earthiness.

Tap at Bungalow. Black with a low head. Big umami in this one, chocolate, citrus, pine, light roast, katsubushi. Lots more katsu in the flavor, citrus and pine, light caramel, chocolate, soy sauce and lots of umami--almost too much. A bit too meaty.

dark brown color. Floral nose with lots of coffee, roasted malt and an underlying headiness. Very interesting. Medium full body, tons of roasted malt, very dry. Modestly bitter. Good cappuccino, dark fruit character. Not overly aggressive bitter much more focused on malt character. Interesting mole finish. Good but I would prefer more hop character

Tap @ iBREW Shimbashi. Pours darker brown, some beige or pretty much white foam on the top. Light malty roast in the nose, something tart too. Tastes roasty, some light tart roasted malt, not dry but more like BlackBerry character. Malty and swedish, covered with some bitterness and a touch of roast. Hoppy Swartz, maybe that's what they went for with this one? Not completely convinced.

Tap at Bungalow. hiny black with pretty tan head. Milky nose, some chocolate, grassy hops. Sweet, hoppy flavor, very grassy and leafy, roasty malt, woody, with sweetness from the lactose. Creamy. Original and decent but reminds me of an extract homebrew I did 10 years ago. Needs refinement.

Tap at Bungalow. Pale gold, clear, with a tall head. Lemony, wheaty nose, pale malts, light stone fruit. Flavor is dry and herbal, bitter, very grassy. Hop character differs greatly from nose to mouth. Crisp, dry, a bit pissy.

Crisp, bright malt nose, herbal, lightly minty, sage notes. Strange hops, but interesting. Sweet, malty, lemony flavor, again herbal in an original but not entirely convincing way. Grainy and a bit slick body. Slightly rough finish. Strange hops but not bad.

Draft at Kamikaze, Osaka 7th Anniversary. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, dark fruits and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

medium brown color. Some woody notes but found it was a bit too yeasty in the nose. Nice mouth, but a bit more bitter than I would expect, woody and earthy, coffee but some salt candy. Definitely new world take. Fairly dry finish with wood lasting. Ok

medium golden big dry grassy hoppy nose. Clean tons of mangos and citrus note on the palate but nose doesn’t jump out as much. Still good stuff. Drank couple months later and this was awesome. Moving it from 3.6 to 3.8. golden color. Crispy nose with a nice heady character. Apples, orange and grapefruit dominate nose. Medium full body. Clean. Bitter. Off sweet. Superbly balanced. Nice bitter finish. Excellent.
