Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pineapple, citrus, lemon, mango and guava. Flavour is light sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle at the Ho Chi Minh taproom. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, some light chocolate, cofeee, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a smooth, roasty, grainy, liqouirce, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Where was the alcohol?

Bottle at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a big frothy lasting off white head. The aroma is caramel malt, toffee, light tropical fruits, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, toffee malt, light yeast, light floral dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Bottle from the HCMC brewpub. Poured a murky medium brown with a big frothy white head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, coffee, light smoke. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a dry roasty, slightly watery, chocolate, coffee, mildly medicinal, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively initial carbonation.

Aroma is passion fruit leather belgian funk catus hops. Taste is full bodied fruity with chalky leathery stuff later. Quite sour. Could be more intense but as I am not the biggest lambiek nerd this does the job for me.

Clear yellow. Aroma is lemongrass lime some asian spices maybe kaffir? Taste is sweetish juices together with lemongrass and some grassy juices. Some mealy hops remains on the tongue. Nice.

Aroma is cinnamon and noodles also some herbal spices some traces of hops. Taste is umami with a soupy thickness. Low carbonation. Full bodied finish. Good. The soup is not too present.
