Bottle from the Ho Chi Minh City Brewpub. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a big fizzy white head. The aroma is cardboard malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a malt, light fruit, light dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. It was a little lager'ish in the nose with some light sweet banana notes too. One wonders what yeast was used. Overall, not bad. Would have liked to have tried this on draught too though.Earlier Rating: 10/11/2017 Total Score: 2.3Tap at the Hanoi brewpub. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt lime citrus, which probably had a lot to do with the slice of lime they threw in the glass. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light grainy dishwasher palate. If it wasn't for the lime I don't think there would be any taste at all. Makes Tiger taste great.
