From a 440ml can on 16/5/2023. Pours a dirty light amber with no head. Has a indistinct sour fruit nose. Tastes of lightly sour apple and not much else. Medium tart at the back. Don't really get the cinnamon or the vanilla. Not very dessertish at all. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Sounded like it might be my type of sour, but it wasn't to be. Quite one dimensional and just not very pleasant. Very disappointing, as the beers I've previously had from Bad Shepherd have generally been very good.

Surprisingly light bodied for an IIPA. Aromas of pine and spearmint are balanced a little biscuit and butterscotch. The hops are very restrained in the mouth, and the alcohol well hidden. It's quite short at the end, so I'm constantly straining for me and drinking it too quickly as a result!

27/10/2022. Can bought at Pyrmont Cellars (Porters Liquor) Pyrmont. Enjoyed at Novotel Darling Harbour. Last beer here before Fiji. Pours cloudy yellow gold with a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is pure passion fruit. Very tart. Moderate body, average carbonation. Pretty good.

(Can) Pours clear deep brown with no head. String coconut aroma with hints of chocolate and maybe berries. Medium body with slightly oily mouthfeel and very light carbonation. Slightly tart, mild dark toffee start is quickly joined by coconut and then dark chocolate. Odd; pleasant.

(Can) Pours clear pale yellow with greenish hue and tiny white head. Pleasant aroma of pineapple and coconut with some subtle funky hints. Light body with plenty of bright carbonation. Taste is tart and pineapple. There’s notes of coconut too. It’s refreshing and certainly easy to drink, but a bit out there for a beer.

(Can) Pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma of dark roast grains with notes of nuts and hints of berries. Medium bodied, smooth with low carbonation. Great taste with a lot going on. There’s the dark roast grains of stout combined with sweetness and some tangy berry jam notes. There’s some creamy notes too. All works together very nicely. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Welder's Dog, Armidale. Black beer with a solid coffee coloured head. Laces well. Nose is dark chocolate and cocoa. Cherry in the flavour and finish. Excellent interpretation of a 'Cherry Ripe'. Yum, yum.
