A cracking red IPA with loads of flavour and a great body. Aromas of biscuit, malt, cream and pine needles. Similar flavour. Could drink this all night, but that would not be wise at 6 percent.

A very nice NEIPA aroma belies the surprise to come - it's very dry. The nose has plenty of passionfruit and pine, plus some biscuit and even a tiny bit of cocoa. In the mouth, it's the same flavours with a really crisp, dry, lemony finish. It's unexpected and takes a little getting used to, but in the end I've decided I'm happy with it.

Notes of pine needles, lime, mango and pineapple make for a promising start, but it becomes quite one dimensional on tasting. The same flavours are all there, but they're overwhelmed by the alcohol and a huge whack of pine and citrus hops. Starts well, finishes poorly.

A very smooth drinking, beautifully balanced OCIPA. You get some of the oat cream, plus orange, , lemon, pineapple and peach. The oat cream gives it that lovely silky mouthfeel and the citrus is very restrained.

Can. Almost clear amber with a white head that fades to a cm. Aroma of pine, kumquat and berries with breadcrust - rather like some Scandinavian takes on West Coast IPA from a little while ago. Medium bodied, carbonation on the low end of moderate. Fairly sweet with fruit mingling with the caramelised flavours then getting a little sharper as a bit of resin grips towards the fairly bitter end. Pretty good - suited a cool evening.

Can. Opaque light amber. a fair whack of stone fruit on the nose. More traditional West Coast flavours in glass with citrus aplenty and medium bitterness. Good malt base too makes for a well-rounded if non-challenging drop.

Can. Clear amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of grilled grapefruit, pine, some bread, berries. Barely medium bodied, moderate carbonation is where I like it for this sort of thing. A little breadcrust-like sweetness with some red berries with building citrus and resinous overtones before a bitter finish. Nothing groundbreaking but very good.

Can. Reddish brown with a good cm of beige head. Slightly flat aroma of caramel, toast, pine, oranges. Eh, seems more open as it warms a little. Medium bodied. Not all that sweet with strong resin and bitterness soon swamping the malt. Dry and a bit boozy at the end but OK.
