From a 22 oz can courtesy of Bacchus66. Pours a hazy dark cola with a tan head. Aromas of leather and cocoa. Flavors are malty sweet with bitter roast.

Grapefruit and sour acid aroma. Flavor is hop bitterness, acidic sour, and underlying tropical fruit and sweetness. Nice overall sour IPA.

Very bitter and resinous, with tons of herbaceous pinecone notes, but with a heavy, doughy yeastiness as well, one that distracts from the grapefruit and lemon zest from the hops. An IPA focusing more on hop quantity than total quality, leading to a clunky, if moderately drinkable, pint.

Sampled on draft this beer poured an almost black color with orange highlights and a large foamy tan head that left very good lacing. The aroma was malty with coffee, cocoa and wood. The flavor was wood, malt, nut, cocoa, caramel and a hint of coffee. Long finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

From the can at Fish Camp on Broad Creek. The nose is chocolate, cinnamon, pecans, and mild coffee. Sweet and malty, with a touch of bitterness. Medium body, with a creamy, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a mellow and overly sweet porter, but fun.

On tap at Holy City, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense whiskey barrels, with lots of booze and sweet caramel. Flavour is very harsh and abrasive, with intense cheap whiskey barrel notes dominating, with subdued biscuity malt. The barrels don't come through nicely or subtly. Meh.

On tap at Holy City, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice melding of the peaches and saison yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with fruity peaches and saison yeast in pretty good harmony. A little messy, but it works surprisingly well.

On tap at Holy City, pours a clear pale copper with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of jalapeo and cilantro upfront, with a touch of pineapple and light lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of jalapeo flavour without the spiciness, along with cilantro, and lots of tart lacto-y notes. Strange experiment - fun stuff.

On tap at Holy City, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of cocoa upfront, with subdued earthy coffee and a bit of lacto - never had this combination before. Flavour is much more pronounced on the cocoa than the coffee, with tart citrus and lacto-y underbelly. Lots of cocoa and citrus tang on the finish. Unusual. I like the concept but I think the base beer isn't good enough.
