Description
ABC has started gypsy brewing (meaning they are using other brewery facilities to brew and package their beer) through Twelve Percent Beer Project.

Abomination - A thing that causes disgust or hatred.

While our beer certainly won't cause you disgust, it is a founding idea the company was based on. Dating as far back as 1487 the Reinheistgebot or, German beer purity act, had varying degrees of stringency across the centuries. beer could only be: hops, barley, water, and yeast. well, fuck that.

Abomination is here to usurp these laws, and show that there is beauty in disgust and curiosity beyond hatred. What are bounds but construct of man? Should anyone be confined to laws other than that of science and fact? We pilgrimage to these thoughts, and it is here that we reside. To push bounds.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: for once it actually looks blonde-ish/white in the body (unlike many others of this style) the disheartening thing about this look is the extremely large bubbles in the head, hmmm...then some messy lace and a light unknown residue sticking to the sides, oh and I can't forget the floaties all around the body
Aroma: loads of white chocolate up front with some vanilla, sweet cream then super subtle notes of coffee sweetness
Flavor: mildly leads with the sweetness blending the prior noted aromas then a super mellow roasty and bitter-ish character stays in the underneath; finishes milky/creamy with a studded sort of vanilla maltiness
Texture: medium bodied; slightly sessionable; very good smoothness as it gets pretty creamy and milky along the tongue; good carb level - mostly low as I hoped and expected this would
Overall: good aromas and flavors, the actual look of the beer in the glass looks way better than most white stouts I have had - the only thing with this beer are those large bubbles, echhhh! Man, this could have been that "white stout" that overcame what the others don't do.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: soft golden yellow color with a nice looking transparency and a finger and a half's worth of fairly quickly dissipating foamy head. Lots of sticky messy lace running along the sides of the glass
Aroma: sweet red apple and a touch of green apple tartness; clean sweet malts underneath
Flavor: seems to lean towards the red apple as I continued to consume; finishes semi-sweet and red apple-y
Texture: light to medium bodied - but seems to lean more towards the light side by a pinch; sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue and a touch of stickiness; good carb level
Overall: seems like a fruited lager to me and fairly easy to take down, I wonder what this would be like in the Autumn with some cider donuts? Hmmm...

Can from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Opaque light brown-dark yellow, no sparkle, thin head with poor retention, tons of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple, sweet citrus, orchard and tropical fruits. Taste follows aroma with mild alcohol in the background. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, slight alcohol astringency, finish as taste with light yeast. I would concur with rumors that this is among the sweeter Fogs, but I like it. Alcohol is hidden better in some others but not overpowering here. Dig it.
