Tap at the Koh Kret brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy light golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is dry malt, some light citrus fruits, dry hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, crisp, dry light biscuit malt, light fruit, dry light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice when served cool but there wasn’t much fruit and the bitterness in the finish wasn’t entirely pleasant.

Tap at the Koh Kret brewpub. Poured a murky orange amber with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, clove spices. The flavour is dry yeast bitter with a crisp, fresh, malt, dry yeast palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very one dimensional and not my kind of Saison at all. It’s dry yeast all the way through with no fruits or carbonation. Others might like this beer but it’s not for me.

Tap at Chit Beer, Koh Kret. Poured a hazy medium brown with a long lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, treacle, light dry woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth rich, sweet biscuit malt, fruity light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Chit Beer, Koh Kret. Poured a clear golden yellow colour with a thin white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is big Pilsner malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fresh crisp, light malt, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A decent session ale but a little on the light side for me.
