Draft at hotel Moxy with my free drink token. Cloudy yellow orange and soapy head. Nose is pine and tropical fruits. Tastes piney, and mango and herbal and sourdough. Slick palate. Short but fruity finish.

Big pounder can gift from the daughter in NC. Pour is hazy light brown. My can says 5%. Nose is typical fest beer, a small hint of sweet malt. First big swig is a little more personality than expected, must be the oak. Yes, that bitterness builds toward the middle, gets a little stronger as I continue the session. Maybe in the middle I'm getting some vanilla but that's mostly hidden from the astringent bitterness. Strongish fest beer, even tho its only 5%. Getting a little difficult near the end, must be that oak thing. Never liked the flavor influence of oak in my brews. JMHO.
