Super clear golden coloured body with a relatively nice, two to three centimetre tall off-white and tan microfoamed head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of grapefruit, melons, oranges and a good deal of papaya with a noticeable alpha acid kick from the hops with only a touch of malts noticeable, in the nose, at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively crisp and dry malts show at first with some floral and grassy notes here, as well as some grapefruit and blood oranges with a light sweetness noticeable at the end, and no real pungency here at all. Aftertaste is pretty straight-forward with some floral and grassy/hay notes that really make this one what it is - it definitely isn't the hops or bitterness, the sugars and clearly not the malt body (thin), this is more of a brut IPA that anything close to Imperial Status, in a good way. Overall, a pretty nice and dry, relatively easy-ish drinking IPA that doesn't seem like anything Imperial and tastes closer to 6,5 per cent to 7 per cent alcohol that 8+, but this seems as a brut IPA to me - get it if you can find it and like drier, crisp IPAs - it's very nice for that style of beer! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Lowe's Foods [grocery] in Pawley's Island, South Carolina on 01-January-2022 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-January-2022.

2 month old pint can A: Clear brassy pale gold with a short, fast falling white head. S: Hay, grass and sweet bread dough. A hint of bubble gum but not enough to piss me off. T: Mildly bitter herbal and grassy hops really pop, with wood and biscuit following. Very low sweetness and light herbal aftertaste. M: Light and very clean with gentle carbonation and dry ashy finish. O: Pretty well covers all bases for the style. Nice enough to buy again.

Refrigerated pint can, canned July 27, 2020 poured into a glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is passion fruit, medium/light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is tart passion fruit and salty. May have been slightly past it’s prime.

7 week old pint can A: Poured a short weak head that fell to nothing instantly atop a mostly clear gold body. S: Citrus and pine with mainly orange and grapefruit. Light caramel. T: Brash bitter pine and citrus pith, mainly grapefruit. Toasted bread and light wood following M: Fairly average carbonation level despite the pathetic head. Clean with light resin. O: Average to solid overall but I do like the potent hops.
