Lenny Boy Brewing Co is a beverage company located in Charlotte, NC. We offer a wide variety of beverages including organic kombucha, traditional ales and lagers, gluten-free wild ales, gluten-reduced beer, sours, and alcoholic kombucha. With plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options - we offer a space that everyone can enjoy.

Our Taproom and Production facility is located at 3000 South Tryon Street. If you visit our Taproom - you can see where our Kombucha, Beer, and Wild Ales are brewed and bottled through our unique viewing walls. There is always someone friendly behind the bar to serve you our beverages and answer any questions.

Barley malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with large white head and mild effervescence. Mildly sweet creamy barley malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light body - plastic aftertate.

16 oz can. Aroma is soft pineapple, peach, mild herb. Flavor follows with a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Easy enough to drink.

Super clear golden coloured body with a relatively nice, two to three centimetre tall off-white and tan microfoamed head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of grapefruit, melons, oranges and a good deal of papaya with a noticeable alpha acid kick from the hops with only a touch of malts noticeable, in the nose, at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively crisp and dry malts show at first with some floral and grassy notes here, as well as some grapefruit and blood oranges with a light sweetness noticeable at the end, and no real pungency here at all. Aftertaste is pretty straight-forward with some floral and grassy/hay notes that really make this one what it is - it definitely isn't the hops or bitterness, the sugars and clearly not the malt body (thin), this is more of a brut IPA that anything close to Imperial Status, in a good way. Overall, a pretty nice and dry, relatively easy-ish drinking IPA that doesn't seem like anything Imperial and tastes closer to 6,5 per cent to 7 per cent alcohol that 8+, but this seems as a brut IPA to me - get it if you can find it and like drier, crisp IPAs - it's very nice for that style of beer! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Lowe's Foods [grocery] in Pawley's Island, South Carolina on 01-January-2022 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-January-2022.

2 month old pint can A: Clear brassy pale gold with a short, fast falling white head. S: Hay, grass and sweet bread dough. A hint of bubble gum but not enough to piss me off. T: Mildly bitter herbal and grassy hops really pop, with wood and biscuit following. Very low sweetness and light herbal aftertaste. M: Light and very clean with gentle carbonation and dry ashy finish. O: Pretty well covers all bases for the style. Nice enough to buy again.

Refrigerated pint can, canned July 27, 2020 poured into a glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is passion fruit, medium/light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is tart passion fruit and salty. May have been slightly past it’s prime.

7 week old pint can A: Poured a short weak head that fell to nothing instantly atop a mostly clear gold body. S: Citrus and pine with mainly orange and grapefruit. Light caramel. T: Brash bitter pine and citrus pith, mainly grapefruit. Toasted bread and light wood following M: Fairly average carbonation level despite the pathetic head. Clean with light resin. O: Average to solid overall but I do like the potent hops.
