Bottled @ Kafe Belgie. Glad Noize got the whole bottle and me just a sip. More than enough. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of slight hop and some malt, bit grainy. Bit watery taste. In Spain it rocks, coz its 40 degrees Celsius over there. In Holland, it aint a big deal.

Pale yellah lager, clear. Smell is mild beer, nothing offensive. For being gluten free, this stuff taste like any other pale lager, you’d never no the differences. Goodly amount of CO2. Here is how this stuff evolves on the palate; first it comes across as a mild lager and then as the slug goes down the hatchm there is this medium lungth bitter bite that sets in. but not like a hop. Its more like a sharp pilsner bite without the gentlemanness. A little medicinal to sy the least.

750 ml bottle. Aroma of wheat malt, citrus, corianger, honey. Less light and wheaty than a typical wit. More like a Belgian Blonde. Medium blonde color with a low head. Flavors of spice, citrus, honey malt. Sweet but not overly so, with some barley malt and a touch of cardboard. Light, somewhat thin. I thought it was a mix between a wit and a blonde, turns out to be a lager and a wit. I can see that. Not bad stuff.

Warning! Early amateur rating! A bit darker than a lager. Sweeter as well. Dry palate. Slightly bitter finish.

Rerate, 250 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Basically the same impression as the first time, but this is a very drinkable beer, which in the cute nip bottle may serve as a first introduction to darker beers for the average pale lager drinker. Not very sweet. The experienced beer enthusiast will look for more challenging beers. Original rating: 330 ml can, kindly shared by my beerpal Jan Magnus. ABV is 5.4%. Dark ruby colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts, caramel and butterscotch. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has very moderate notes of malts and caramel, low bitterness.

Pretty Cava-style bottle (not an aerosol or anything exotic). Hazy yellow/ orange with a large white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, coriander seeds, wheat. Quite sweet and slightly watery. Some tartness that seems to be from the aromatics rather than the wheat. The licorice is there at the end. Lacks that sour tang and a little depth, but it’s refreshing enough.
