Can at home watching Bruins. See brown pour and pretty beige head. Nose is smoke and some cocoa. Tatses of caramel, rye, smoke, pumpernickel, cocoa powder. Smooth palate. Smoke lingers on palate and not over whelming. Pleasant brew on this stormy night.

16 oz. can from Whole Foods, Portland, Maine. Pours a cloudy gold color with an off-white head and excellent retention. Lots of fine streaming bubbles. Decent lacing. Hoppy aroma (as expected). Piney hops flavor with a medium bitter finish. A pretty standard pale ale profile. I'm not tasting any of the supposed citrus, pear, or caramel malt flavors. Lower than average carbonation for the style. Medium body.

Canned 8/4/21, drunk 8/27/22. Ebony ink. Large, light-tan head showing moderately-strong retention. Thick, rich, oppressive bourbon and alcohol with some ash, licorice and molasses behind it... More of the same in the grossly over-barreled and boozy flavor. This is like when barrel aged stouts first came out and 99% of them were disgustingly over-barreled, with the only thing noticeable the heavy bourbon. Here it's the same with vanilla, licorice and molasses. Absolutely nothing soft/sweet/balancing anywhere. Booze and more barrel on the end. Dumped it after a few sips. Cant remember the last time I had a good beer from these guys. Not sure what the hell happened to this once great brewery.

Cans at home. Lemon colored pour and soapy white head. Nose is citrus and melon. Tatsss of honey dew, lemons, mango, some grass and florals. Thin bodied. Light soap.

Can (5/31/22) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. It's a deeply hazy, light brown-golden yellow with light sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is lemon, florals over biscuit. Taste follows aroma though biscuit/bread is more forward. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with moderate lingering bitterness. Overall, taste is stronger than aroma and more malty. Kind of what you'd expect from C hops. OK.

12 oz. Draft Fox street. Flavor is classic hefeweizen. Soft bubble gum and banana. Medium in body. Bubblegum and banana is subtle. Pretty good for the style.

16 oz can. Aromas bread dough, light pepper, and mild yeast. Flavor shows me moderate biscuit/ bready backbone. Light-moderate pepper on the finale. Also subtle honey, and lager yeast. Not very complex. However usually the style isn’t. Easy enough to drink.

8oz pour at brewery. Pale yellow, light cloudiness, thin white head. Lemony aroma, zesty. Taste loses some of the zip and offers light bready malts, still with a small citric edge. Finishes fast.
