Established in 2002
In the kitchen, our goal is to create food that is wholesome and interesting to insure locals and visitors return often. We design our menus around the seasons and what is available in and around Addison County while borrowing techniques from a range of world cuisine. We work hard to bring quality and consistency to the table, offering food that is informal enough for a quick meal with neighbors but worthy of an important celebration.
The Bobcat Cafe and Brewery opened in 2002 as a community supported business designed to be a “third place” (a social retreat or meeting space away from home and work). Today we continue to support the community by hosting Wednesday night benefit dinners and by providing a comfortable and fun spot where neighbors and friends can meet up and enjoy a beer and a meal together.
Come check us out and enjoy!

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear deep orange amber with a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma was full of pine and resin with a nice citrus to calm the bite slightly. Flavor began with not as strong pine and was joined by citrus as well as some light grain for a backbone.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured black with a brown head that lasted throughout the beer and laced. Aroma was full of roast with a good amount of coffee and a backing sweet milk chocolate note. Flavor was similar with roast and coffee in the start that mellowed to allowed a sweet milk chocolate finish to come out. Nice and smooth.

On tap. Poured a slightly hazy deep ruby amber with a near white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of earthy grains, a bit of yeast and some sweetness, but the currants didn’t really come out. Flavor was similar with the currants lacking. A combination of grain and earthy yeast notes but not much else. Had high hopes for this one but it didn’t come together.
