Can (4/6/21) pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! It's a cloudy light brown with decent sparkle, finger-plus width off-white foamy head with good retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is mellow lemon citrus with substantial malt/caramel. Taste follows aroma (lemon more pronounced) with late resiny bitterness. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering moderate bitterness. Overall, fairly standard conventional IPA. Can says notes of toffee so malt forwardness is not unexpected. Hops a bit muted but age may play somewhat of a role. OK.

Can from the Grafton General store. Hazy deep gold in color with a thin bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Earthy grassy citrus and tropical fruits with bits of bready malt to counter. Mild astringency.

Can at home can’t pass up an Oktoberfest. Dirty orange brown pour and sudsy head. Nose is toast and leafs. Tastes of fallen leaf litter, bread, caramel, burnt sugar some red fruits. Crisp and light.

Some cans at home watching bit of snow noir. Dark pour and lovely head. Nose is ash and chocolate. Tastes of chocolate, char, smoky, earth, raspberry, molasses. Medium to heavy bodied. Not sweet.

16 oz. Can. No date coding. Aroma shows mild apricot, weak citrus. Flavor has weak citrus, mild sweetness in the finish. Lighter body. Not bad but with so many wonderful breweries in VT, it will be difficult for this to keep pace.

16 oz. Can. No date coding. Aroma is soft coffee in mild chocolate. The flavor is a reflection. Mouth feel is slightly chewy. Overall, a standard straight forward oatmeal stout.

From my brother who said he got this from the brewery last week: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is cotrus, light tropical stuff. Taste is on the sweet side. Super low bitterness. Slightly creamy body. OK.

Can. My favorite out of the first of the four batches. Grassy and citrus hops. The grassiness reminds me most of mosaic. Multiple and hot profile are balanced with a slight hop bitterness. A good amount of juice in this one. For me the closest of a "New England" IPA.

16 oz can side by side with the others this far in the series. Overall for me I find this one to be very generic. Mild honey green, light bitterness, without a huge hop character. Maybe lately grassy. Even after warm I have a hard time getting any real good flavors from this.

16oz can pours a hazy orange with some fluffy, white head. Nose is a little old school, pine, soap, straw, orange. Flavor has the same, orange and tangerine, grass, straw, soap, pine sap. Finishes medium bodied, bitter.
