Pour is a murky tan with a large white head. Aroma is a honeycomb toasted malt. Flavor is more honey sweetness with a little plastic on the back end. Finish is gone quickly. Not a beer that fits into any one style category and is kind of whatever at best.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy burnt orange to copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: light notes of strawberry, slight honey and grapefruit then some light malty tones in the background
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to lead mostly with the strawberry and malty notes; finishes somewhat dry with a malty tone
Texture: medium bodied; good sipper; some smoothness with a drying sort of bitter hoppy assertiveness seemingly just rolling along the tongue
Overall: not a bad DIPA, maybe again.

Can to mug.
Appearance: semi-glossy burnt yellow/orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy hops, floral, light tamgerine and a little bit of lemony hops with a light clean malty backbone
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes mixed citrusy sweet with a light floral crisp sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; good smoothness with a good carb level
Overall: nice easy going lager worth coming back to.

Can to stange.
Appearance: muddy/cloudy burnt orange to brown color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which settled off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: some mineral water with campfire smoke and a touch of tangy to subtle sweet wheaty scent; light lactic/sour-ish whiff underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a semi-tangy to sour to sweet combination; brisk finish of tangy to semi-sour to smoky tones
Texture: medium bodied, semi-sessionable - most likely due to the low ABV; some smoothness but also a little bit of the sour to tangy tones seem to nick the tongue as I somewhat expected them to
Overall: as far as I know a pretty nice Grodziskie I believe I would have again and most likely see if I can find any differences next time. There's so much going on with this beer.

Bottle to mug.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a three finger khaki foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet dark malts with some briney to salty tones; some dark chocolate; subtle black licorice? Hmmmm...well, I think so but seems extremely faint.
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty to salty quality; finishes semi-dry with a touch of salty to roasty hints
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; substantial smoothness to what seems like mostly a good flow
Overall: another awesome smoked beer by Switchback - more than worthy of coming back to.

Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a thin cap of a little khaki foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: jalapeno sweet and spicy notes; roasted dark malts with ample smokiness coming through in a sweet campfire sort of way
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine spicy to sweet to semi-roasty sort of quality underscored by a touch of bitterness; finishes semi-dry with a light spicy to subtle sweet hint
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also I love how the jalapenos are not overbearing but provide the right amount of heat to tell me this is the kind of beer you end a night on
Overall: a very nicely done smoked beer with the jalapenos making it even more awesome.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: glossy burnt dark yellow semi-cloudiness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: piney, floral and mixed citrusy bitter hoppy tones with a touch of sweet behind them; light biscuity to semi-caramel malt backbone
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet blend; finishes leaning into some bitter hoppy tones in a subtle dry yet clingy subtle sweet
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: not a bad AIPA but a little bit more bitter than I had hoped for.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt dark orange close to red color with a two finger off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bittersweet grapefruit rind with orange bitter rind with a tickle of lemon sweetness; caramel malts? Yeah, I think so but at least the malts are clean
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a bitter to bittersweet citrusy quality; finishes bitter leaning into grapefruit and orange rind notes
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper as the booze seems fairly noticeable; some smoothness but also some assertive hop bitterness
Overall: not bad for me, I guess this is supposed to be an "old school-ish" sort of DIPA so I believe I could come back to this? I think.

Can to mug.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow to almost orange color with a sly transparency about it and a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: super light citrusy to floral and a touch of perfume-y hops with a nice semi-sweet bready mallt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a sweet malty vibe and pushing out the bittering hops a bit more than I thought but seems fine for the most part; finishes sweet malty clean
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, great smoothness and nothing burdensome
Overall: nice easy drinking Helles lager worth coming back to possibly straight out of the can next time and would be a great grill side beer.

Bottle to mug.
Appearance: semi-cloudy golden yellow to pale coloring with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet smoky campfire with bready malts intertwining and some sweet grains then sweet meat - somewhat like ham
Flavor: pretty much is the same as the aromas - sweet meaty to savory and smoky toned; finishes with a campfire smoky tone with a light ham note
Texture: medium bodied; somewhat sessionable; very smooth along the tongue with nothing bothersome; good carb level
Overall: a very nice done smoked lager very worthy of returning to.
