8 oz draft at Cask On! Aroma and flavor is pretty malt forward. Toffee, earth and a touch of syrup. Not bad.

Cask On, 3/30/24. Amber-maize. Clear. Small, white head immediately to ring. A hint of butter, moderate toast and light caramel. Fruity. Malty, fruity, toasty, lots of toffee. Maybe some buttercream. Can't tell if it's Diacetyl or just malt but whatever it is, it works just fine. Light bitterness. A lot of caramel maltiness and toast.

Pretty well done. Pine and lemon. Murky orange pour with good head and lacing. Light bitterness, some hop tang. Good balance. Can.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a super dark brown color with a thick light brown head and great retention. Good lacing. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. The flavor has roasted malt, light vanilla (lactose?) and even lighter coffee notes, with a lightly boozy finish. Some dark chocolate bitterness. No coconut. A nice balance between the sweet and bitter flavors. The 8.4% ABV is evident, yet subdued. More coffee flavor than I prefer, but still an above average imperial stout for me. Medium-heavy body. Light carbonation. Medium-light bitterness.

Medium brown. Thin head. Aroma is weak coffee, but it's more complex on the palate. The coconut and coffee are in balance, and the brown sugar slides in there. The base is light and struggles under the weight of the adjuncts.

16 oz can. Massive fizzy carbonation in a clear purple color. Aroma, soft, berry, lactic acid, and lightly floral. The berry, the lemon, and the floral notes are all pretty balanced and soft. The only thing that’s off is this ridiculously high carbonation level. Just ok.

Brewery draught, 8/26/23. Turbid. Deep wax. Small, white head to ring quickly. Juicy, malty, earthy, crusty, minerally. Funky IPA? Nice and zesty, very spicy, juicy, thick, rich, dank, and finally assertive. No wimpy, soft, underbittered IPA here. Yet the New England softness is there in force. Very impressive. Should drink more of their stuff.

Brewery draught, 8/26/23. Clear golden, small, white head sits at cover. Apple, paper and mineral. Clean. Light. Some seltzer and pepper tones. White grape, apple, pear, soft papier machee. Clean. Little/no hop. Not watery though, with good malt depth and dryness.

16 oz can. Notes of melon, grass, tangerine. Flavor upfront is bittersweet citrus, cracker malt and herb. Shows soft grassy, herbal bitterness in the finish. Pretty much what I remember from original Flume. Just the tone down version.
