Hazy reddish pink. Sea salt and berry aroma. Flavor is great. Just a little bit of raspberry. Not tart or acidic. Light sea salt and pineapple and herbs. Nice but I prefer the base beer flying solo.

Draught at the brewery, 3/23/18.
Clear golden-brass with a sizeable, white head showing moderately-strong retention.
Nose is a bit odd. Some spice and leaf but lots of earth and dust, as well as a bit of resin. No real distinct hop, just seems like typical PNW IPA bittering. Dry, cracker-like malts are clean and snappy, otherwise, with no flaw or alcohol.
In the mouth it's dry, well-carbonated and engaging with a malty, biscuity-to-grainy texture. Again, though, I get that vague, American hop bitterness and not much, if any, interesting hop character. Leafy, earthy, lightly spicy bitterness trails off leaving light astringency on the finish.

Dark amber, clear with light ruddy notes throughout. Head fizzles out immediately.
Nuts, molasses, light brown bread and a hint of hazelnut seem to be the dominant notes in the nose. But it's extremely mild and very low on aromatic strength. Really scraping to smell much of anything.
In the mouth there's a lactic-like acidity that perhaps stems from the exposed grain, as it's quite husky, as well. Very light maple-like sweetness tries to gently balance. Very watery, not necessarily unexpectedly-so for its size. Hmmmm....may be true to style but it's a bit of a chore to drink on account of the dry, husky flavors and textures and lack of any softness or depth. Low, rather loose carbonation.
