Tap at Craft Clerkenwell - 27/11/12. Lightly hazed mid brown with reddish hues and a big creamy/frothy off white head which retains well. Nose is spice, ginger, orange peel, nutty tones, caramel, nutmeg. Tastes of sweet sugars - but fairly well tempered and not over the top, caramel, toffee, a little booze, orange, hints of spice. Medium bodied with fine carbonation leading to a sweetish fruity finish. Decent.

Draft. Clear light golden body with a fizzy, off-white head. Aroma of mint, raw grain, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, soft carbonation. Unique, but overly spiced for my tastes. Lingering earthiness with peppermint and a hint of herbs and earth and floral hops. But the spices dominate everything else.

Half-pint served chilled from keg at Craft Beer Co in Brixton, shared with Finn. Apricot coloured body, near-clear. Fragile layer at the surface. Fresh and dried fruity hops to the nose. Fresh apricot fruity taste added by red oranges and by mid-sweet malts beneath. Long-lived bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good last drink at the place (Greater London, 04.11.2012).
