Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light citrus. Light soured citrus and a light finish.

Murky yellow with a small white head. Cucumber on the nose. Cucumber and some heat. Just not what it needs to be, no brine and heat is not flavourful.

Hazy gold with a decent white head. Sweet baby vomit notes. Soft, sweet and sticky with vanilla and a kick of heat in the finish. Odd.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy gold with small white head. Vague grapefruit and plastic. Quite poor. Drain pour.

Hazy whiteish orange body and minimal foam. Very vague grapefruit and a bit of sour grain, rather muddled. Taste is tart grapefruit, sour grain, ending a little bit like abrasive plastic. Awkward at best.

Murky dark brown body and minimal foam. Very weak malt aroma, and I'd be lying if I said I smelled lime. Taste is modest maltiness, ending watery. The lime must be on vacation, it's hard to hire help these days.

Hazy gold body and modest foam. A bit of orange on the nose, but a little subdued. Taste is sour grain melded with modest hops, but it seems like they're getting divorced. I think I saw them arguing out on the street earlier.

Can from Jak's Parkcrest, Burnaby
Amber colour, clean, bright; it's less dark than in the official pictures from the brewery; compact head. The aroma is more fruity and resinous than I expected, good. The mouthfeel is off-dry, there is some darker shade of malt, bread, toffee, but it's not sticky; the hop, on the other side, is powerful but not bright; there is bitter orange peel, chicory, and a higher level of sourness than desired.
It's not bad, but even as old style IPA it's not particularly impressive.

On cask at R & B, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Nose smells pretty English, with bready malt and a touch of pecan extract. Flavour is full of pecan extract and English bready malt. Decent enough but a pretty useless, gimmick, flavoured cask beer.
