The appearance was a burnt orange to copper color with a slight transparency about it. Sly carbonation was seen rising to fill a finger’s worth of messy white foamy head. Touch of lace.
The aroma had some caramel/toffee malts up front, sweet grains, citrusy to piney hops stabilizing some bitterness.
The flavor brought all of the previously mentioned aromas together to blend sweet to semi-spicy with some bitterness. Malty to semi-spicy aftertaste. Light malty finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a decent sessionability about it. Slight carbonation. Good ABV.
Overall, good sturdy APA that could be worthy of coming back to.

The appearance was a fairly dark close to black color with a semi-foamy white head. Moderate dissipation, sly lace.
The aroma had some roasted grains, some sweet oats, light toast and a little bit of coffee.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side and pulling about some roast underneath, trying to balance. Light semi-sweet aftertaste. No finish.
The feel was just a tad over medium in body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Somewhat smooth along my tongue.
Overall, nice brown ale worthy of coming back to.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours a clear copper with a thin fizzy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grainy malt, stone fruits, honey. The taste is bready malt, grain, doughy malt and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

This one poured a deep amber colour with a smooth, creamy off white head. Scents include a little ripe fruit, old attic and sweet malt. First swig was a little watery with flavours of must and nuts with a little ripe fruit. Finish is a little musty with malty flavours lingering.

This OPA poured a nice, rich, amber colour with a minimal head. Scents include yeast, spice and cream. First swig was nice and rich with flavours of spice, hops and Doritos? A light cheese flavour that works. Finish is lightly bitter with a nice hop flavour.

12oz bottle from a Tops grocery store in Buffalo, NY. A gloden amber pour with a trace of translucent head; some grassy hops on the nose; sweet, malty body, but rather thin; and with a bready caramel finish. Very pleasant.
