Sweet coconut overdose with loads of sugary syrup, hints of toffee, nutty notes and earthiness, faint oaky woody notes. Heavy but quite tasty pastry overdose

Can. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, vanilla, Bourbon, coffee, earthy. Taste: Well balanced mix of roasted malt, Bourbon, vanilla, coffee, chocolate notes, earthy notes, boozy notes. Hints of smoke. Floral hop backbone. Lightly warming mouthfeel. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Nice.

473mL can, pours a clear bright amber with a small white head. Aroma has bright strawberry, orange peel, citrus, subtle coconut, and lacto. Flavour is tart, with tart citrus, light coconut, strawberry, and some pineapple. The reapers come through very subtly. Cheap, gimmicky nonsense. Not the most egregious pastry sour ever but pretty futile nonsense.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt, orange, mango and wood. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit, mango, blueberry, wood and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Easy drinking.

Undated can drunk 3/3/26.
The spice part is a bit earthy, ginny, bitter, but the blueberry and vanilla character are very well-done. Importantly, it doesn't smell cheap or sugary, or unnaturally sour. Vanilla is tasteful, as well, being something that can easily be overdone.
Like the aroma, the flavors are well-done with lower spice in the flavor and tasteful vanilla and seemingly authentic blueberry. Unfortunately, it's very, very light, bordering on thin. Thankfully, a light sour ale is probably best equipped to handle this extremely light body. Still, I wish there was more texture here, be it malt/wheat/oat/whatever.
