Notes from 4/28/19 Bottle from the local ABC in Maui. Rounded wine glass on the balcony of our hotel in Kauai. Brown on black. Lingering cocoa head. Smells of soy sauce, au jus, light coffee. Tastes of bakers chocolate, chalk, watery coffee, soy sauce, hint of vanilla. Well carbonated, light dusty body, finishes dry. Less soy sauce would have worked out better.

Notes from 6/02/19. Bottle from the the ABC in Wailea, packed & settled home in BK. Had this on tap eventually, but no time for notes when your on vacation. Duvel tulip. Big foamy off-white head. Clear, dark gold honey body. Simply lathery as ever sip leaves a generous bubbly trail behind. Smells of Belgian candied sugar more then honey, malt, Cheerios, mineral water. Taste is bittersweet. Sweet honey nut Cheerios malt, Belgian-American phenols, lingering bitter greens, lingering bold citrus rind, foamy, surprisingly light body. ABV was about right, but this is quite easy. Good.

Bomber from ABC store. Pours orange gold with a white head. Aroma of yeast spice and honey. Arguably full bodied. A bit sweet with some heat. Spice fights the sweet. Heavy duty brew. Liking it.
