9th July 2016: 0.75 litre bottle. The first beer of many at the lovely Napar Brewpub in Barcelona: with the RBESG guys. Small white head on a hazy orange body. Farmyards in the aroma, a fruit orchard farmyard maybe, with squashed citrus fruits underfoot. The taste was a surprise compared to the nose: a mild sweetness initially followed by a gentle citrus led bitter, mini-sour fruitiness. Nice start to what was a mega 15 beer tasting before moving on.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at BlackLab. Golden colour. Fruity aroma and flavour, passion fruit, also some spicy notes. Really? Passion fruit notes from Saaz hops? Am I rating the wrong beer here? Did not notice which number among the Theories of Conspiracy it was.

On-tap in the BlackLab Brewhouse on 8th July 2016 with the RBESG guys. Poured a hazy golden yellow, thin white head. Aroma was fruity with a citrusy lead. The taste more malty than the nose intimated, still plenty of citrusy flavours in the taste: which blended together make this a decent enough, fairly smooth Imp Pils.

Tap at NaparBCN. Clear golden with white head. Lime, massive dank hops, quite grassy and almost hay-like, soft caramel and sweet malts. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. I liked this one!

Tap at NaparBCN. Murky golden with fluffy, long lasting off white head. Lime, fresh bread, fresh mowed fields with grass, herbs and wild flowers, light caramel. Almost medium bitter and light sweet. Under medium bodied with dry feel.
