Can from the LCBO. Pours a dark brown, with a small tan head. Aroma is nutty, and softly roasted with some light bread, and grass. Mouth feel is standard, and the carb is fine. Light crackery malts, light bread, solid nuttiness bordering on artificial, and quite sweet. Low bitterness, sweet nutty finish. Reminded me of Rogue Hazelnut, but watered down, and a little sweeter.

Can from the lcbo. Pours a clear orange with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty much all grapefruit, and not much else. Its a nice softly sweet grapefruit and not too pithy or strong. Good carb, good moith feel. Low to medium bitterness, with a semi sweet grapefruity finish. Im not sure i enjoy these grapefruit flavoured ipas. Its tough to not make them taste fake i find. This isnt awful, but i dont see myself revisiting it. Wouldnt you prefer having a heavily hopped ipa that has grapefruit aromas and flavours naturally from the hops?

Can from the lcbo. Pours a Cloudy, hazy golden with a huge off white head. Aroma is very grassy with loads of cereals. Smells like unfermented wort. Nice mouth feel, carb is a tad over the top. Finish is low in the bitterness category, very grassy with some minerals and more solid cereals. This impressed me.

Golden pour, medium, rocky white head. Actually has some decent cereals in the nose with a touch of dried grass. Mouth feel is nice, carb is a touch soft. Finish is a little sweet, cereals lean towards a not very pleasant t apple flavour, and the hops all but disappear. Not great, but I’d take this over a macro lager any day.

Bright pear skids..... Some. Light apples and sweet pear flesh. Low carb, fresh mouth feel, and quite refreshing. Not half bad.

Clear copper, big off white head. Aroma is very earthy, grass hops, and obviously alot of ginger with hints of pine. The ginger dominates the finish, it’s very earthy and smacks of ginger and not much else.

Quite sweet, way heavy on the vanilla, and milk chocolate aroma, and flavour. The coffee is present but takes a back seat to the over the top, slightly artificial milk chocolate and very artificial vanilla. Very creamy mouth feel, with normal carb. The slightest hint of bitterness and a very sticky sweet finish. Not my bag.

Dark amber pour, small off white head. Cramel malt aroma, dry, grassy hops. Light nots of citrus and some spice from the rye. Nice mouth feel, good carbonation. Mineral finish, quite bitter, quick dry hoppy finish. Light roast and nuts, with some decent cereals.

500 ml can from the LCBO.
pale golden pour, with a small white head.
Aroma is light, some nice cereals, light grassy hops, but it lacks the punch of a great pils, but it’s close. The body is perfect, and the carbonation is soft, and spot on. The finish is lightly bitter, with some more nice cereal,s and grains. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.

Cask days 2011.
Hmmm...hops? Hello? You in there? Light grassy floral notes, cereal malts, light bitterness. Hmmm.., maybe an amber ale? Its weak for an ipa.
