Granite Hoppin Mad on Cask at Bar Volo. It is red malty goodness with a solid citrusy hop nose. It has a silky smooth cask  mouthfeel. The taste is bitter malts & citrus.

Cask. Slightly hazy mahogany-brown. Not much head. Very sweet, candyish, thick body, no real complexity, but the malts - sweet as they are, are not so bad.

Draft - Grassy hops, grains and the house yeast. Clear gold with a rich white head. Grassy, grainy and bitter crisp finish. Exactly what they claim, and probably the best beer they have today.

Cask - Earthy and a bit of grapefruit. Clear gold with a thin head. Grassy and resinous hops, perfume, mellow with a light malt backbone. Nice cask style session English IPA.

Draft - Light toasted malts and very light earthy hops. Dark maroon with a bubbly white head. Roasted malts and an almost astringent hop bitterness that imparts no good flavours. Finish brings out the hops but it’s a bit late. Not a fan.

Draft - Orange and pine hops. Clear gold with a thin white head. Orange, resin and pine with a mellow bitterness. A well balanced mellow cask, but nothing special.

Draft - Caramel, grassy hops and a slight bitterness. Clear gold with a decent white head. Caramel, resinous hops and a mild long lasting bitterness that has some grains. Nice example of a casket ESB.

Draft - Spices dominate, almost root beer like. Clove and cinnamon dominate. Jet black with a rich beige head. Roasted malts, spices melded nicely and not as overpowering as the nose. Bit of chocolate and spices in the finish. Although not my type of beer, not a bad example.

Draft - Red grape, slight sourness and some apple. Clear caramel with a rich yellowy head. Green grape, apple, caramel and booze. The fruitiness is a bit "young" tasting and mouthfeel is a bit thin.
