Poured from 473mL can (thanks Taylor). Clear gold with small white head. No date stamp on the can. Mild pine hops, dull malty backing, a touch boozy. Not sure if it's age or just Unfiltered brewing. Slightly disappointed, but it's fine.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very hazy gold with small white head. Booze, toffee, light wood, hint medicinal, interesting with the 3 yeast strains, a bit of hopping. A good (and unique), but slightly harsh, barley wine, and my favourite Unfiltered beer, but not outstanding. As I continue sipping it, it grows on me - raising 0.1 rating.

Poured from the tap. Black with minimal beige head. Boozy average tasting rum, chocolate, roast malt underlay. Way too boozy and could use a touch more body. Had to lower the rating as I kept trying to sip it - unbalanced booziness, left half the 4 oz pour.

Can: Poured a clear dark brown color bokc with a medium size off-white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with some limited amount of other flavors perceptible. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt with light residual sugar and light cereal notes with limited ester that I was expecting to find in that beer. Body is about average with good carbonation. Lacking the flavors and complexity that are associated with the style.

A dark reddish brown ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, bananas, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, OK.

Opaque pale. Thin head. Piney, orangey, honeyish aroma. Chewy, boozy and old school. Pine, pale malts and the alcohol smacks you upside the skull. A bit of marmalade in the finish, lemon rinds. A bit out of balance on the boozy/chewy side.
