Can. Pitch black with a tan head. Roasty, fruity nose, lots of licorice. Well burnt and roasted flavor with some soy sauce and spicy licorice and a very bitter finish. Interesting.

CBS vertical tasting @ Tim's. Can, thank you Davido. Hazy yellow pour. Fruity tropical nose, malty edge to it, soft. Taste is balanced, medium bitterness, bit numb. Light herbal feel, mainly herbal bitterness from hops but mainly from green tea, light citrus. Linger is a bit harsh, some more of that green tea coming out. Good one.

Hazy golden color. White head. Nice citrusy nose with green tea in the background. Slightly biscuity malty backbone with nice green tea character. Modest bitterness. Nice green tea ipa. Probably best green tea ipa I’ve had.

Can from Davido. Lightly smoky nsoe, grapefruit and cat piss, huge hops, cruso earthy malt. Seems like some Sorachi Ace in there, light smoke, bit acidic. Nice balanced drinker.

I honestly never figured I’d get to try this so even at 1000¥ a half-pint (10$ can) I still jumped on it when I heard it was on tap and knew I'd be in Osaka near Kamikaze. How could I refuse? A lightly cloudy gold with a lightly spicy Belgian character with herbal noble hops. Crisp clean and drinkable medium body with herbal grassy noble hops, white pepper and a dab of spiciness. Would be great in summer or from cans as it was available in Toronto at the brewery. Good stuff.
