Tap. Hazy golden color with no head. Aroma is mild bandaid, peppers, lime, I would think kiwi too. Taste is the same. Pretty daring combo. Not exactly for me.

Bottle from Appalachian. Lo-ball @home. Purty, lingering, lacey, eggshell head, cloudy gold body. Smell is fuming with macerated fruit zest & Brett dry funk. Twangy & bitter, Sidra-ish apple crap, very sour apricot/beer base, very real vanilla. Apricots linger forever. Can't taste the whiskey barrels. Lingers like good hot sauce, but sour. Good sizzle, it's basically pickled fruitcake. Kinda dope, kinda sloppy. Hard to taste anything after this, let alone finish the bottle.

At Snallygaster. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a tan head. Aroma was big pepper notes. Dark roast, chocolate. This is so spicy. I don't know what kind of peppers are in this but fuck... This is hitting me really hard - slow burn, not immediate. Really solid.

Lots of chile peppers here. Lots of roast, some dark chocolate and coffee. Pretty good balance. Black pour with good mocha head and lacing. Bitter and spicy finish. Great stuff. Tap at Snallygaster.

33cl bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of bubbles. The aroma offers up slivers of dates and prunes leading quickly to molasses, faint vanilla, cinnamon and the cognac barrel treatment. Inviting. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet malts and molasses mingling with mildly boozy dark and fruity cognac, dates and prunes. In the background the cinnamon spice and faint vanilla are noticed from time to time. This offers up a really nice sipping experience as it's blended and balanced and full of integrated flavor goodness. I love it.

Sample at the Eighth State during the Beer Release - 'Actually Virtual' Adjunct Porters event on 07/18/2019. Pours a dark reddish-chestnut color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart berry, oak, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a raspberry and cherry aftertaste. Good beer all around.
