Tasting at Zil Verne. Reddish color with pink head. Aroma of red berries, some malt. Moderate fruity taste complemeted by nice hoppy bitterness. Long fruity, hoppy taste. Good.

Bottle at a tasting. Hazy deep amber-brownish-reddish colour. Stable head. Tasty, fruity, with rather ordinary fruitiness overlapping to berries, instead of classic citrus and tropical fruits. The fruit is more recognizable here, while still harmonically blending with the bitter IPA base. Also light sourness. Quite good.

Hatalmas, tartós, bézs színű hab, feketébe hajló barna szín. Illata kissé szúrós, borsos, borókás, enyhén élesztős. Enyhén borsos, hajszálnyit citrusos és édeskés, fűszeres ízek. Kissé száraz, testes, közepesen szénsavas, és alig kesernyés. Nem rossz, érdekes ízvilág, de nekem egy kicsit túl fűszeres.

On tap at 9. Czech Beerfestival Budapest. Hazy dark orange to amber with a lasting off-white head. Hoppy, rather fruity and mild malty with notes of ripe apricots, hints of pine and caramel. Moderate to medium sweet with balanced fruity and malty flavours and a fine bitterness. Tasty, sessionable and quite enjoyable.

Szűretlen, szalmasárga szín, nagy, tartós hab. Illata komlós, citrusos, gyantás. Íze citrusos, déli gyümölcsös, kissé gyantás. Közepes test és szénsav markáns, de nem erős keserű. Kifejezetten könnyed érzetű, nagyon itatja magát.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours black in colour with a creamy tan foam head leaving lacing. Nose of liquorice & hop hints. Flavour is dark malt, roasted, ash, coffee & chocolate, with some pine & citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Quite drinkable BIPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy golden colour with a big foamy white head. Citrus and slight tropical fruit aroma taste light sweet to a long bitter finish. Nice beer.

Super dark brown coloured body with a muddy glow of deep amber and a smooth nice sized three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, roasted malt, tons of spices, grass, pine and quite a bit of juniper berries as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty flavours with roasted and almost smoked malt flavoured showing some grass, herbs, light sweetness and quite a bit of licorice and deep flavours near the end. Aftertaste shows some alcohol warmth with a little sweetness, but this is mostly about the herbs from the dry flavours, but also from the pungency of juniper berries and licorice. Overall, a very nice beer that is full of flavours and depth with a nice complexity - definitely good to try and worth grabbing if you can find it anywhere - even if you have to lug it across the whole of europe and the Atlantic like I did. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Beer Odalon in Budapest, Hungary on 24-March-2016 for HUF750 sampled at home in Washington on 14-June-2016 while watching Hungary beat Austria in Euro 2016!

3 weeks before BBE date. Hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and has a fine crispness. Light malts, caramel and cream. Touch of candy fruits. Floral bitterness and orange peel. Light pine. Finishes light with the mild candy fruits making a return. Not bad.

Nagyon tartós, méretes hab, borostyán szín. Intenzív, citrusos, kissé gyantás illatok. Komoly keserű és gyanta, ananász, citrushéj. Közepes szénsav, nagy test. Kellemes IPA.
