bottle sample at the Hampton tasting - Pours a hazy deep gold with a medium, lasting head. It has a very pleasant fruit and yeast aroma. The flavor was moderately sweet with considerable citrus. The palate was lively though a bit thin, and the finish was at once sweet and mildly hoppy.

Hazy deep orange with a thin white head that lingers. Oranges, spice, honey and sweet malt make up the complex aroma of this brew. The flavor matches the aroma and the smooth delivery makes this very drinkable. Excellent with food or as a break between the meal and dessert, or as the dessert itself.

This pours hazy with a long lasting foamy head. Fruit and honey aroma. The flavor is sweet, but lacks the complexity that I was expecting to find in a Barleywine. I was hoping that it would come on as it warmed, but it simply drifted away.

Dark brown with a mocha colored head. The aroma comes easily with lots of chocolate and roasted malts. The flavor is smooth and the mouthfeel is near perfect. A very good, solid Porter.

This comes on draught in a tall mug that shows off it’s bright copper color and nice creamy head to perfection. Nice malty aroma that prepares you for the well crafted brew’s flavors that follow in the tasting. Malty and smooth, this is a very well done Oktoberfest. A $1.00 donation goes to breast cancer research from each mug sold, thus the stylish pink wristband that accompanied this.

On tap at the Classic City Brewfest. This starts with a clear deep amber and a decent head. Aroma has some malt and some earthy hops coming through. Light malt flavor with an acidic hoppy touch. Nice dry, bitter, finish.

Deep amber color with a good head. Malt aroma leading in to a malt flavor profile that is well balanced and smooth. Not an over the top Bock, but no real problems here and I wouldn’t hesitate to drink another one.

Hazy gold color with a small but lasting white head. Good hop aroma leads to a well balanced malt and hop flavor. Certainly not over the top, but a satisfying IPA. I would drink another.

Shared by John (JCW). Nice inky, oily brown-black body with orange highlights at the edges, thin cream head. Big coffee aroma. Rich, dry coffee flavor with dark chocolate. Piney hops notes developed over time. Full-bodied and well-balanced. A touch of sweetness would have been nice, but this was a fine beer.
