1l flip top Bottle that poured a thick oily black with dark tan head. Prominant coffee aroma and dark roasted notes. Flavor was a bit sweeter than I expected but man, the coffee just bullys right to the front. Some chocolate and molassas maybe. As it warms, it gets smoother but I still found myself reaching for the coffe-mate. Feel was heavy and slick thanks f\to the oatmeal and the lingering bitter smokey espresso was the trailer. Thanks to BeerCellar2 for the hookup on this one !

Draught after GA 14% gathering. Although there are a few things missing with this beer, I don’t think it will be long before these Georgia brewers have the kinks worked out on these bigger beers. Nice deep ruby color with a thick short lasting head. A hint of malt bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is sweet with a touch of bitterness, but it lacks the smoky/ peated malt contribution that I feel a Scottish or Scotch Ale should have.

GA 14% gathering. Thanks to Spike for bringing this by!! Deep dark amber beer with an average sized off white head. Malt aroma with a hint of cookie dough. The body is creamy smooth, slightly oily, and delivers a complex malty flavor and nice finish that is slightly bitter.
