On tap @ Prado location. Brown color, a bit hazy. Aroma of (sweet) fruit, caramel, malt, a bit old. Taste is sweet, heavy, with some hints of dried fruit and port. Strong alcohol feel and full body. Flavors linger on for a long time with some bitterness to make it complete. Great British-style barley wine (or old ale?). Rated 01/26/09

On tap @ Prado location. Smells like a real hop bomb: Resiny, flowery, piney hops. Taste is relatively mild, with even some malty sweetness, but quite dry. Finishes with a mild bitterness, with all the aroma still in place. Very good and very different from your average Westcoast IPA. Rated 01/26/09
