Hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall white head with a pale straw tint. Aroma of grass, herbs, alcohol, citrus, coriander seed and a ton of fresh raspberries - very nice smelling and complex! Medium-bodied; Coriander seed freshness at first with a grassy and very herbaceous bite of the sorrel or mustard/dandelion greens showing some citrus and lemons afterwards, all with an overtone of the raspberries and fruit near the end. Aftertaste shows a good complex finish, all on the lighter side with a touch of grass and icing sugar, still, with a mellow tartness as well. Overall, a decent enough beer with some complexity and an interesting profile to say the least. While it wasn’t an out-and-out success, it isn’t a bad beer and is worth trying if you like saisons or fruit-based beers. I sampled this thirty two ounce growler filled on draught at Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 27-September-2015 for just US$5,00 sampled at home in Washington a day later on 28-September-2015.

On tap at World of Beer in Reston, pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Juicy nose, orange and tangerine, light fruit sweetness, perhaps some star fruit, a little bubblegum, grass. Flavor follows right along, medium bite from the hops, clementine orange, tangerine, light perfume, light soap, a little Asian pear sweetness, mild honey. Dry finish with just a little bitterness. Very easy drinker.
