22 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Hazy amber orange with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of orange citrus, floral notes, some biscuit, malt. Tastes of grapefruit and orange citrus, bitter grapefruit peel, floral notes, some malt and caramel. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium body with a dry finish. Doesn’t quite match up to some top local imperial IPAs but pretty solid overall.

Total Wine, McLean can: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is sugar, spice. Taste is too sweet and malty. No gentleness. No good hop character. Just a somewhat drinkable mush of a beer.

Very tasty indeed. Just had a small sample of this but it was very nice. Very well balanced. Big roast and some cream. Some chocolate. Black pour and mocha head. Bitter finish. Great balance. Tap at Jackpot

Draft at the First LoCo Brew Festival. This one poured a murky orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light malts, some mild earthy hop notes. Flavor had plenty of wheat notes, light floral notes. Personally it was a lot better than I expected considering the number of breweries that were involved. I’d love to see a different collaborative beer where each place brews the same base beer with perhaps a few changes like the Alt In Together that a few DC breweries did a while back.
