Purchased on my trip to Vegas at the Total Wine store. Second of two pumpkin ales tonight (the other being the Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat). Pours a deep amber colour with a beige head that stays a bit more than the ST and lacing is much better. Tiny particles float around and a little haziness installs itself at the last pour. Pumpkin nose with hints of spices (nutmeg) and soap. The taste is a bit more on the cloves side of things, with hints of pumpkin and a bread finish. Still, everything is pretty mild as this is a light beer at 4% ABV. Not sure if I prefer it to the Shock Top version.

12 oz bottle from Utah State Liquor Store #18 Cedar City. Nose is grass, honey, cloves, and white yeasty bread. Hazy light yellow with a medium yellow tinged head. Flavor is lightly sweet, cloves, caramel, and light bubblegum.

12oz bottle pours clear bubbly deep amber with tall tan head. The aroma is a little dusty, a little sweet nuttiness, a little roasted malts and then a touch of fruity esters. The taste has somewhat neutral and watery notes mixing with a bit of roasted malts, a bit of sweet nuttiness, dark roasted coffee and a mild level of drying roasted malt astringency.

On tap and served up ice cold at near freezing temperature at Iggy’s where it has poured up a hazy pale copper color with gold hues and off white head. Even cold it has a decent degree of aromatics with blueberry, wheat, banana and sort of tart lemon. The taste is on the lively side with blueberry, tart blueberry skins and lemon followed by a moderate level of bubble gum. It gets sort of saccharin like after a few ounces are consumed which helps you decide to stop drinking it and move on.

12oz bottle pours a nice clear brown with copper hues and tan head. The aroma offers up a bit of esters and then some dusty nuttiness, nut shells, earthy malts and some roasted malts. The taste has a nice rich mix of roasted malts, nuttiness and a bit of earthy malts. It then picks up a brief poke of esteriness before it gets a dryer sensation with some astringent roasted malts. Interesting brown.

12oz bottle pours slightly hazy gold with near bright white head. The aroma sends up apicot juice, blunted wheat notes, grainy malts and then sort of International House of Pancakes apricot pancake syrup. The taste starts out with an even mix of apricot and apricot syrup followed by apricot flavored Smarties sweet/tart candies and wheat malts. To midway and into the finish creamy wheat and grainy malts come to the surface with plenty of lingering apricot extract and syrup notes.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma offers up winter spices, pumpkin from in a can meat and cinnamon covered graham cracker. It smells a lot like a pumpkin pie. The taste is pretty much the same with winter or fall seasonal spices, pumpkin pie meat, cinnamon and graham cracker. Nice stuff. If you’re in the mood for a pumpkin beer then this is a solid option.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours black with light beige/off white head. Nose of roast black malt, burnt coffee and light smoke. Taste is mostly burnt black malt. Light to medium body.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear orange copper with a small off white head. The aroma is sweet bread and floral hops. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and citrus with a nice crisp finish. Easy to drink, a good pilsener from Wasatch.
