Nitro pour at brewery. Black with thick, velvety beige head, one finger head. Aroma is light roast, coffee, chocolate. Taste blends the bitterness from all three into a seamless, creamy brew. This is 9.5%, a bit stronger than the one listed here. Smooth.

Draft at brewery. Bright golfen, small lasting white head. Aroma is grainy and mildly sweet. Taste brings hops with a vengeance, sharp and biting. Bitterness lasts, coupled with a dry, chalky finish.

Bomber from Homebrewstuff. Dark, clear amber, small creamy head. Malty aroma, toasty, light boozy notes. Taste is more rich malts, leather, tobacco. Dry and warm. Really solid.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Murky redish light amber. Fine light tan head. Soft woody malts. A little sweetness and mellow. Toasted woody malts with a little brown sugar. Quite low hop bitterness. Smooth palate

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Slightly hazy very pale light golden. Quickly dissipating head. Tart lacto with lime flavors. A “Margarita Gose” Not bad, fairly hefty for the style at 6.5% Some residual sweetness makes a nice balance.

On Tap a the Boise brewery/taproom. Clear deep golden with a fine white head. Certainly looks like a pilsner. Moderate piney hop aromas, Flavors are closer to pale ale territory. Light pale golden malts, nice full hoppy flavors and bitterness, Not so much of the “noble” pils type hop notes. Stll, not bad

On tap at Heritage Hop Hause Thick dark brown nearly black pour. Nice firm lasting tan head. Melos smooth slight sweet chocolate and roast aromas and flavors. Low bitterness and rich body/feel. Quite good.

On Tap at the brewery/taproom Foggy pale dull golden fine thin lasting off white head and lacing. Subtle piney hop aroams and more of the same in the flavors. Some resinous notes and some bitter citrus pith. Smooth and mellow also. A touch of the ABV burn. I don’t get much late fresh hoppiness, but A big Double IPA that is still pretty drinkable.
