50cl bottle from Ambleside Wines. Appearance - amber with a decent head though it disappears quite quickly. Nose - toffee and the merest hint of biscuit. Taste - again promising biscuit but really toffee is the main note. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture but I wanted more bitterness on the finish. Overall - decent but needs a cleaner finish.

50cl bottle from Ambleside Wines. Appearance - golden with initially a nice head but it fades quickly. Nose - floral and lemon notes. Taste - lemon and grapefruit. Some maltiness. Palate - light bodied with a light zingy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s a simple formula but they’ve nailed it really well.
