Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/21/2015. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, herbal yeast and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

750 ml bottle purchased at Applejack in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a three inch light tan head which is quite lasting and falls with nice lace. The aroma is nutty, softly coffee, with grassy floral hop and an interesting fresh cocoa smell. Interesting nose, very engaging. The taste is grass, lemon citrus hop, followed close behind by the toast, roast and nut of the coffee, which carries the finish. All flavors are integrated, balanced and pleasantly subdued. The palate is medium bodied, cleansing carbonation and a dry softly bitter and roast finish. Nicely integrated flavors, well done.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014 as barrel aged Dola barleywine. It pours with a nearly clear pure copper body that supports an off white head. The aroma is nice and rich and musty with malts as well as fruity esters like prunes and fig and then it gets into smooth and subtle bourbon like notes at the end of the draw. The taste is smooth and silky as well as rich and near intense with a pleasing mix of molasses, caramelized sugars, prunes and then some brown sugar coated figs. To midway it picks up nectar sweet notes that arrived just as subtle smooth bourbon bubbles to the surface into the finish. Darn tasty barleywine

On tap @ The Mayor of Old Town Fort Collins. Fairly clear golden orange appearance with a lasting cream colored head. Spicy tropical fruity hops in the nose. Passion fruit, pineapple, and mango. Inviting nose. Soft body. A bit sweet and doughy flavor. More citrus. A little onion. Fairly bitter. Light bubblegum. Ok.

Dark brown coloured body with a thin one centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, alcohol and pit fruits. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong assertive roast up front with a deep honey, apricot and yeast flavour that battles through the roast. Aftertaste shows a good character with some pit fruit sweetness, raisins, figs, honey and a lot of roast as well. Overall, a nice and very respectable beer for a hybrid, kind of cool take on the styles. Definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this pint on draught at Merry Monks in Denver, Colorado for US$9.00 on 08-June-2014.

On tap @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pours a hazy golden appearance with an off white head. Pasta / bready-like aroma with some vanilla ice cream notes. The coriander and salt are more apparent in the flavor though neither are really out of control. A lot of vanilla and honey. A little tough to detect the tequila barrels. Drinks just fine.

Touch fruity, smells like a nontraditional hop. Crisp hoppy taste, subtle grassy hop note and clean malt. Not sure it’s a kolsch but it’s a nice beer, clean and dry. Very pale.

"2 oz" draft bottle pour at SAVOR’s Friday night session. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was tart sour notes, touch of tequila heat. Lots of serious funk notes in this one, with a pleasant acidic citrus character.
