Fles 16/24 uit de Beer in a Box Adventskalender, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een dun laagje schuim wat snel weg ebt. Het heeft een aroma van kaneel en hazelnoot. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, koffie, drop, kaneel en hazelnoot.

Keg at Stuyck and Co, Madrid, 29/10/22. Black with a big old lasting tan head. Nose is dark fruit rinds, charr, spice, roasted malts, cocoa powder. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, charr, vanilla, chocolate, dark fruit esters. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Not bad if no Wow offered.

Draft @ Birrot. Bière mettant en avant le nouveau houblon Vista - apparemment, Basqueland a été la première brasserie en Espagne à l'utiliser.
Couleur claire blond, col crémeux blanc bien tenace.
Arôme est finement fruité, sec et frais avec une belle touche légère d'agrumes, pointe de tropical - apport de malt extra pale ale est suffisant.
Palais est léger avec un bon apport malté pâle qui donne un léger croustillant grillé mais repris de suite par une fine amertume du houblon; herbacé, agrumes, finement fleuri avec qcq pointes d'agrumes. Assez sèche sur la fin mais le tout est bien balancé.

Tap at Capitán Amargo, Granada, Spain. Pours pale gold, medium hazy, with limited fine white foam. Aroma is citrus, even slightly tropical. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is quite bitter for a pale ale. Final is fairly dry.

Clear pale blond beer, dense big creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, a bit fruity, some barnyard. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, a bit sourish, metallic touch, dry. Aftertaste: a bit soapy, chemical bitterness, sweet touch, spicy, dry finish.

Darkest brown. Aroma is intense cherry wood caramel roast coffee and vanilla chocolate. Taste is sticky sweet with lots of cocoa and chocolate with wood and some booze. Also raisins. Very complex and nott too heavy. Very nice.
